SME Banking Council 2026: Eastern Europe

July 30 - July 31
€2000

Participants can expect meaningful dialogue with peers from other banks, practical experience‑sharing, and discussion of real cases — from transforming the digital onboarding customer journey to new sales and service models for business clients. The format is designed for live discussion, strategic thinking, and the development of practical recommendations.

Why participate

  • A relevant SME banking agenda without fluff or marketing
  • Experience‑sharing with peers and SME Banking community
  • Insights you can apply immediately in strategy and daily operations
  • High‑quality networking within a professional community

The focus areas include digital transformation of the SME segment, sustainable finance and ESG approaches, banking strategy and new business models, as well as best practices and insights presented in an advisory‑council format — including presentations from banks shortlisted for the TOP20 SME Banks ranking. The program consists of five advisory councils:

  1. Digital Banking — online account opening, mobile banking, internet banking, and beyond‑banking solutions.
  2. Sustainability & Inclusion — green finance, women’s entrepreneurship, and other areas of ESG strategy implementation.
  3. Business Banking Strategy — banking strategies, innovation and new business models, digital banks.
  4. Daily Banking & Payments — everyday banking services, payments, acquiring.
  5. Business Financing — lending, financial leasing, factoring, microfinance, and alternative financing instruments.

Participation in the expert council is an opportunity to benchmark approaches with peers, discuss solutions “without the shop window,” identify growth points, exchange experience, and — most importantly — take away ideas that can be implemented in products, risk models, customer journeys, and operational processes.
