{"id":1497,"date":"2026-01-24T01:03:25","date_gmt":"2026-01-23T23:03:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/digitalfinance.best\/?p=1497"},"modified":"2026-01-24T01:03:25","modified_gmt":"2026-01-23T23:03:25","slug":"nedbank-launches-bill-payments-feature-and-accompanying-rewards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/smebanking.agency\/platform\/nedbank-launches-bill-payments-feature-and-accompanying-rewards\/","title":{"rendered":"Nedbank launches Bill Payments feature and accompanying rewards"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"bsf_rt_marker\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nedbank has announced the launch of its new <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/personal.nedbank.co.za\/bank\/ways-to-bank-and-pay\/bill-payments.html\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/personal.nedbank.co.za\/bank\/ways-to-bank-and-pay\/bill-payments.html\" target=\"_blank\">Bill Payments<\/a> feature, currently in the pilot phase before rolling out all users on the Money app and online banking portal later this month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As the name would suggest, this feature is designed for Nedbank customers to pay their bills and have greater control over the process. In order to incentivise its use, the&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/htxt.azurewebsites.net\/topics\/nedbank\/\" target=\"_blank\">financial institution<\/a>&nbsp;is also rolling out rewards for every time a customer pays their bill via the app or online banking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe extensive bill payments and bill management feature, available on the Nedbank Money app and Online Banking includes more than 500 listed beneficiaries,\u201d it explained in a press release sent to Hypertext.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWith this, you will be in full control of your regular or monthly bills, able to keep track of payments, set payment rules for each beneficiary and, best of all, earn valuable rewards whenever you make a payment to a service provider listed, provided that the card selected for the bill payment is eligible for rewards on spend,\u201d it adds.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/digitalfinance.best\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Mobile-Device-Nedbank-Bill-Payments.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1499\" width=\"358\" height=\"633\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In terms of the rewards, Nedbank has listed Greenbacks, SAA Voyager Miles, and American Express Membership Rewards as examples, with more options said to be on the way.
