Founder

Andrii Gidulyan was born in Mykolaiv, Ukraine, in 1981. He graduated with honors from secondary school No. 30 and the Admiral Makarov Ukrainian State Maritime Technical University with a degree in Engineering and Economics.

He started his career in 2002 in the insurance company “Inspol” as an insurance specialist. In 2003, Andrii started working in the Mykolaiv branch of Bank Aval as a corporate manager of large corporate clients in the region and reached the position of Head of the Credit Analysis Department.

With the acquisition of the bank by the Austrian Raiffeisen International Group in 2005, Andrii moved to Raiffeisen Bank Aval’s head office in Kyiv, establishing the SME credit risk management division. He has worked at the bank for 10 years, including senior positions in risk management of the bank and the leasing company, Basel 2 project management, and SME product development.

We believe in small business – it’s our DNA. We are set up to help SMEs access finance and better financial services. As an owner and manager of a small business, I understand the challenges of business and know, as a banking expert, how to help banks do a successful business by providing real help to small businesses.

In 2013, Andrii established his own company, Gidulyan Company, to provide information and analytical services to SME bankers in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, developing the previously established SME Banking Club.

As SME Segment Leader at Raiffeisen Bank International (Vienna, Austria) from 2020-2022, he coordinated the development of the SME business segment in 6 countries and implemented several strategic projects where the banking group was represented.
